Welcome to the simplest dip to serve at a watch party for an awards show. This dip was introduced to me years ago, and my friends and I have been making it for awards show season (Golden Globes, SAG awards, Grammys, Academy Awards) ever since. Only four ingredients, and maybe 20 minutes to make altogether.
Pro-tip: I messed up in my photos for this recipe. I forgot to put the dill on top of the cream cheese (inside the dough)! But by the time I remembered, the dough was already pressed together and I couldn't rip it apart - So I tossed some dill on top. It tasted the same, so it was okay, but it'll look slightly prettier (or more of a surprise) if the dill is baked inside with the cream cheese. Really, you can't go wrong.
The recipe card below is for a regular serving of Poor Man's Brie. I made a mini version, which uses only 4 oz. of cream cheese and a mini tube of crescent roll dough. The normal-sized Poor Man's Brie will look more rectangular in shape.
